The Portland Puppet Museum is thrilled to start the New Year with a wonderful Live Tiny Tot Puppet Show inside the museum in honor of Dr Seuss's Birthday by Pegasus Puppet Theatre. February 29th and March 1st, The show starts at 10:30 AM and lasts until 11:15 am.
Come join us in this special puppet show of Horton Hatches the Egg . Perfect for three years to eight years old. Psrents and Grandparents will enjoy sharing in the fun with their kids
This is Dr Seuss' beloved classic about Horton the elephant who agrees to watch over lazy Maisie bird's egg while she vacations.
Much later, after standing (and sitting) guard 100-percent faithfully through rain and snow, Horton and the egg are captured by three hunters and put in a circus.
Maisie happens by just as the egg is about to hatch and demands that Horton give it back to her.
Pegasus Puppet Theatre (PPT) is a children's puppet theatre here in Portland founded by Emily Alexander, is the daughter of the founders of "Tears of Joy Theatre", Reg and Janet Bradley.
Emily is a 2nd generation Puppeteer, while her son Helix is a 3rd generation Puppeteer.
PPT is Family owned and operated.
The Show runs for 30 minutes, with puppet play at the end for the little ones.

The indoor theater in the museum is limited to 30 guests only .
