Come see this heartfelt courageous story of the timid bird that wants to fly, but doubt and fear stop her flight, that is until she spots a beautiful horse with a dazzling pink mane in the reflection of a pool of water. Can they work together to overcome her fears?  Or is she just destined to walk through life, without her natural gift of flight!  This charming children's book by author Diane Kaufman magically unfolds as local puppeteer Kris from Pacific Puppetry brings this enchanting tale to the live stage with beautiful puppets and the gift of storytelling and song.
Original music composed by Michael Raphael. Bird That Wants to Fly is a community outreach project of the Arts and Healing Resiliency Center at Mind Matters, PC.

After the show stay for a while and build your very own unique Pegasus puppet, combining both of these enchanting characters into your very own, for you to soar into adventure. The show and workshop run for 45 minutes.
Perfect for all ages . Doors open for seating at 1:30pm, the show starts at 2:00pm to 2:45pm.  Cost is $15.00 per seat, ages 3yrs to adult.  Puppet Workshop included.
