Deluxe Sock Puppet Workshop (Family) or (Adult)
You have seen these before, you and your children have played with these in the museum and during our live puppet shows, now we present a brand new workshop, Build a deluxe puppet of your own!
Using new fluffy socks, fun foam, pipe cleaners, colored felt, plastic puppet eyes, glitter, glue, paint, fabrics, feathers, coat hanger wire, and various odds and ends, this deluxe workshop allows you and your kids to create your very own special puppet in just three hours. All materials are included as Steve Overton, John Rouse and Nina Oberlin, all professional puppeteers and puppet makers, take you on a grand adventure into the world of moving mouth puppets. These puppets are perfect for making YouTube or TikTok videos with!
You do know that the famous Kermit the Frog and Lamb Chop are sock puppets right? These puppets are perfect for young children 5 yrs to adults, just look at some of the ones we have created!
Cost is $45 per student, parents are welcome to assist young kids and adults you will have a ball creating something special and new from our materials. Workshop held in the Portland Puppet Museum.

Your On-line tickets are printed by us and available for pick up at the Puppet Museum door before the workshop. Doors open for tickets and seating at 1:45PM. Workshop from 2:00-5:00PM
